Nutcracker with the Donetsk Ballet of Ukraine

International Ballet Exchange sponsors this world class company.  Auditions for children’s parts will take place at Wissahickon Dance Academy on September 18th,  ages 5-9 at 4:30 to 5:30 and ages 10 and up from 5:30 to 7 PM.   the audition is open to all dancers currently studying ballet and not limited to WDA students.  The performances will be held on December 17 and 18 at Plymough/Whitemarsh High School and an additional performance for the School District of Philadelphia at George Washington High School.

Register for Fall Classes

Registration will take place at the studio on September 8th from 4-7 PM. You can pre-register by printing out the registration form and mailing it in with the $20 registration fee.

First day of class is Saturday, September 10th. Tuition is due the 10th of the month

WDA Spring Concert May 28, 2011

Wissahickon Dance Academy’s annual recital was held at William Penn Charter’s Kurtz Center for the Performing Arts.  Two shows were presented on Saturday, May 28th.    The ballet division performed La Fille Mal Gardee while the second half of the program showcased high energy performances  of jazz, tap, hip hop and modern.
